Fu Lai and Good Morning Tree Company

I've eaten at Fu Lai in the past. The food is just about so-so. I would have tried them again but they left a friggin' flyer on my door!

The Good Morning Tree Co. has pissed me off two fold. First with the f'ing 3-page flyer on my door that REEKS of smoke. Gross. Just gross. You wanna kill yourself my smoking those cancer sticks, fine, but don't ask me to take your nasty smoke filled flyer into my home and then add insult to injury by asking me do business with you. Not just no, hell no. Oh and if you've ever given TGMT Co. your business and offered to be a referral you should know that your name and address are printed on this mega flyer. I'm sure Mr. Hackney on Park Hills is stoked about having his address left on someone's door all the way across town. Way to protect customer information.

Sheez.

Flying Rotten Tomatoes

I abhor advertising via flyers on my car, door or other personal property. I HATE IT! Did you get that? I HATE IT! It's a chicken shit way to advertise. At least if these business sent their advertisement through the mail then the USPS would get some business and I like my mail carrier!! Sticking a flyer on my door is completely invasive. You're coming on to my property, into my personal space unannounced and uninvited. Flyers clutter my car, mess up the house and increase my work load because I have to take that flyer you killed a tree for out to the recycling bin. I'm a mom (who by the way makes most of the purchasing decisions in our household) of two small children. I don't need more work!

I hate the flyer method of advertising even more than...dare I say it??....spam. In fact, if I get a flyer on my car, home or other personal property from a business rest assured I will NOT use your business if only on principle. So this blog was created so that first and formost *I* could remember the names of business to never use and also to let my family and friends know who and why I won't use a particular establishment should I never need Asian cuisine, tree trimming, a realtor or yard work.

This is all my opinion (it's my blog, it should be my opinion). I have no idea of the quality of the work of these business, and frankly I don't care. I won't ever use them so why should I give a flying fandango about their workmanship? Do with it what you will with this information. Hey, you gotta pick and choose based on *your* criteria. I've decide to start my elimination process with never doing business with anyone who uses flyers.

So take note, if you've got a flyer in your hand and you're walking up to my door, that "Welcome" sign in NOT for you.
